CropBytes Blog#2: Understanding CropBytes Game Economy & Strategies on Growing my Farm
Hello everyone! Most especially to my fellow CropBytes farmers, traders & investors. This is my 2nd Blog about my favorite NFT game: CropBytes! In this Blog, I will be discussing 2 important topics that every CropBytes player, especially the "Newbies" must consider and learn throughout their entire CropBytes journey. First, I will talk about CropBytes Game Economy. Secondly, my Strategies in Growing my Farm.
1. Understanding CropBytes Game Economy
What is Game Economics? A game's economy is the flow of resources between it's systems and players. This serves as a lifeline between the relationship of the system and players. A game's economy must be researched, studied and planned by the game developers of how and why the production, consumption and transfer of items occur. Like for example: CropBytes economy is defined by the complex flow of assets between the system, investors, traders and farmers).
Do Cropbytes Game Economy Balance? The short and sweet answer is YES! You may as well ask why and what are basis. So let me tell you first an important analogy about the two helpful concepts when talking about game economies, the: Taps and Sinks.
- Tap (Mining) - is the "point of creation" of a resources/assets. For example, when a CropBytes player receives cbx at a rate dependent animals sheds (extracts) and utilities (power, water) making the extracts and utilities cbx tap. Meaning animals that produces extracts is the point of creation of the cbx, it is the point when players acquired the cryptocurrency. Believe it or not, when I first received my cbx token through extract conversion, I am so happy because CropBytes is my first crypto game, there's a feeling of relief and the adrenaline to push further, hence the urge to have more!
- Sink (Burning) - is a place or process where resources is destroyed or CropBytes term "burned". So this is the so called burning mechanism of CropBytes! Finally, I was able to understand in my 4 months of playing the game, hahaha! This is when we players spend our cbx in the shop by buying "Starter and Limited Packs"(normally this is where newbie players like me spends our treasured and well kept cbx) or players will spend their cbx by burning to acquire "Super Heroes and Pro-Assets" (normally this is where the big time players or whales spends their cbx).
- Pinch Point - is the level of supply of a commodity at which demand is maximized due to consumers becoming concerned about the supply. Its about time to answer as of why CropBytes "Limits" the quantity of assets that a player can buy or acquire. Starter Packs and Limited Packs can be purchased only once. In CropBytes there's no assets that is unlimited. CropBytes Game Economy is a cycle of player to player transactions which is commonly termed as "trading", there's a lot of movement going on in the game, and this cycle isn't static because overtime the Taps and Sinks grow in size as the number of players that will join the game also increases.
1. Feed Your Animals Daily - by feeding your animals once a day, in return they will gave extracts (i.e. Hen gives eggs, Goat and Cow gives milk) and these extracts can be converted into CBX.
2. Plant, Harvest & Grind - these 3 process is very important and time management also plays an important role. Every player must schedule their Planting, Harvesting and Grinding, because animal feedings depends on how efficient you are in in managing your crops. No Crops means No Animal Feed and if a players can't feed his/her animals it will result in loss of health and no extract given, No Extract means No Profit. So in short Extract equals Profit.
3. Collect Utilities - collecting utilities is also important. Utilities like water and power are also considered profit. Water is essential in animal feeding and plants. Power can be converted into CBX.
4. Learn To Trade - cropbytes has in-game market trading. In the market you can buy and sell assets. General Rule in Trading is " Buy Low, Sell High". When trading, patience and timing is key. Every trader has Ups and Downs, so dont be hasty just observe, explore and study the basics of trading. If you do well in trading, your ROI will be much quicker and Growth in Farm and Portfolio is very attainable.
5. Balance Your Farm - I could still vividly remember the first time I joined CropBytes Telegram Channel_Philippines. Senior/Experienced players encouraged us newbies to Balance our Farm. Indeed its true a balanced farm in a balance sustainable economy will result in great success! How? Its pretty simple. Hold/keep only animals that you can feed, meaning feed your animals from the crops you planted and from the water in your well.
6. Re-Invest - in this age of NFT and Cryptocurrency, CropBytes Token (CBX) is still on the infancy stage, or so to say it is just beginning to grow. CBX value after 1 year will skyrocket, much more after 2-3 years.
7. Join the CB Army - by joining a CB Army Team of your choice, you will learn and enhance your understanding of crypto and crypto gaming, get trained, a group support when asking important strategies in the game and win prizes like assets in Army Missions.
8. Complete Army Missions Task - by completing army task you will be eligible of in-game rewards. These rewards will boost your farm and cbx production.
9. Participate/Attend A.M.A (Ask Me Anything) Calls - this community calls often presided by no other than Sandeep and CropBytes Admins. Through this calls CropBytes strengthens their bond between players, by being responsible game developers they will answer frequently ask questions from players to avoid any unnecessary misunderstanding. If you have questions feel free to ask. As Confucius said and I quote : “The man who asks a question is a fool for a minute, the man who does not ask is a fool for life.”
That's all for now folks. Thank you for your patience. Let's Grow and Help each other and make CropBytes a great crypto experience for everyone.
